Grace Elizabeth Stickelmaier, of Dunlap, IL, was born a quiet birth at 9:36 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Grace was a dream and an all-too-brief presence for her parents, John P. and Sarah A. (Hermes) Stickelmaier of Dunlap; brother, Dillon J. and sister, Madeline R., at home; paternal grandparents, Phil and Berna Stickelmaier of Peoria; maternal grandparents, Paul and Barb Hermes of Dixon; uncles, Mike (Jess) and Matt (fiancé, Megan) Stickelmaier; and aunts, Corrie (Kyle) Ackman, Mary Jo Hermes, Jenny (Troy) Morse and Jean Hermes.
A private service and entombment were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria, with Monsignor Dan Hermes officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul parish building fund. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home in Peoria.

Dear Soup & Sarah,
No words can take away the pain you feel for Grace. Know that Steve & I along with our whole family think of you both. Time will lessen the pain and the life you share with your children will help bring joy back to you. We have had masses said in Grace's honor. Always in our hearts & prayers.
